Well, ill probably get a new game next month and I can only get one. I figured I really want some rich and heavy content kind of game, and I feel like a strategy game would be perfect.
I really liked fire emblem awakening and ghost recon shadow wars, but disliked fire emblem fates and project x zone.

so, which will suit me better - stella glow or fire emblem echoes? they both seem decent and I just cant decide XD thanks for any help =]

I've only played SOV and not Stella Glow. But for a bit of perspective, SOV is a bit old-school in its gameplay in the sense that it doesn't allow pairing up, include the weapon triangle, and does away with modern things such as master seals, second seals, etc., tomes, and to a lesser extent, support conversations. Instead, they're replaced with (except for pairing) scrolls that require health rather than be treated like any other weapon, and supports which must be done in battle. That being said, SOV I've heard lasts around 32-35 hours while Stella Glow runs between 48-50 hours. Hope this helped.

I'm not normally a big strategy game fan, and I haven't liked any of the Fire Emblem games I've played. But I am actually currently playing Stella Glow and really like it. I'm not very far into it, but so far I like it a lot and would recommend it.

I haven't played any Fire Emblem game to be honest, but I finished Stella Glow awhile ago and can safely say it provides a very rich experience in terms of Strategy RPG. In my opinion, its such a compelling experience - and while some of the characters didn't hit home for me (I can be a real emotional rock sometimes!) the abilities and skills they all uniquely gain encourages you to really think about how best to use them. In short, I'm saying you'll definitely get your money's worth!

As an added note, I have to say the songs in the game just get better and better. If you're really into music - you'll be quite impressed with what's on offer!

Never take anything I say seriously. S'all you buddy. ;)
Mainly play on my Switch but I have 3DS, Wii U and PS4 as well.
Fave game series include: Pokemon, Smash Bros, Splatoon, Disgaea, Bayonetta, Dragons Dogma, Phantasy Star & Arena of Valor.

@VoltageX I've got Stella Glow, and I've gotta say, I really don't enjoy the voice acting and writing. Meanwhile SOV voice acting is pretty excellent. I'd say SOV is way better than Stella Glow, although Stella Glow is still a good game.

Poyo! <3

I've played both.

Stella Glow is a great hidden gem, but FE Echoes is one of the better FE games I've played, and I've played them all. It's a return to form in terms of story, and the characters and narrative is hands down the best I've ever seen in a FE game. Voice acting is spectacular.

@JaxonH cant wait to start it soon. I really enjoyed awakening, and if I can get a similar feeling from this game ill be pleased =]
