Omg I completely lucked out and beat Boss Rush and Satan on Hard mode with Eden! I got some crazy good items during that run, including the Brimstone, the Book of Revelations, the Holy Mantle, and some familiars.

No you most certainly do not, lol. If you were then who's to stop you from just using an OP seed and dominating the entire game?

I'm trying to decide whether to get this on 3ds or WiiU. Just going off controls, what would you suggest?

Controls are friggin great on 3ds, too bad the game is currently UNPLAYAFRIGGINBLE.

Okay guys so um protip: don't try and use th Bible against Satan; you will insta-die. I tried this with maxed out hearts and I just straight-up died. HOWEVER! The second I died I closed the system, then got an idea. I restarted the 3DS, rebooted the game and lo and behold, I was back at the start of the last floor I was at as if nothing had happened, effectively saving me 20 minutes of playtime.

I'm guessing the game saves your current items whenever you leave a room, so if you get an item that completely cripples you it doesn't have to be a death sentence, just immediately restart the game.

Was saying earlier I never came across any kind of glitch...the game froze on mii twice today...

Afterbirth can't come soon enough to Nintendo, also I'm pretty sure they said they sent a new update to Nintendo, but it's taking a long time!

I thought Afterbirth wasn't coming for the Wii U and 3DS since he can't get it to run on them even saying like the Vita is as powerful as a Wii U.

It's just a update to fix bugs, but after reading his comments, it's either they are lazy or just bad at fixing games...which we got evidence for both, wouldn't be surprised if Afterbirth didn't come if it takes 5 updates to fix the original game =w= either way it's excuses excuses to not release it over here so it seems. Oh well, still got Rebirth to finish and hopefully the game won't crash again.

@arronishere: According to Sony the Vita was as powerful as the Xbox, the 360 wasn't mentioned by Sony , so that begs the obvious question.

It's really simple, they need the extra power to run the game because it's not optimized.

Kinda like how emulators need much more power to run old games that what the original consoles could provide.

Of course, optimizing the game would take resources and effort... And ain't nobody got time for that.

Nor, it seems, the skill.

Nah it's not a matter of power nor optimization - the point is that the game wouldn't sell enough on WiiU and Vita (two dead consoles already) and the New 3DS doesn't have enough units around to justify the investment.
