Topic: sell or not to sell...

I see his point here. If I have a limited ammount of money to buy games, would I buy some for 3DS or only PS3 ones? Perhaps he might be interested into one or two 3DS games in the future, but can these compensate 10 old PS3 games which he might get by selling the 3DS? And for me the answer here would be no, even more NO if the 3DS future is more marios.

Keep it we are getting Mk7,SM3DL,KId icarus,animal crossing,monster hunter,sonic genetations,Luigi mansion 2,pokemon(at somepoint),3d videorecording and more.Will you get new ps3 games in 5 years time you will get 3ds ones in 5 years though.

youre totally right about this. 3ds just came out and still has a long life.
the ps3 will be replaced soon enough by a ps4 long before a new nintendo handheld will be out.

like i said before, ill wait for skyrim and my ps3 will become a skyrim only console for a year. plus one shooter, either be it battlefield 3 or modern warfare 3 for the thuesday shooting with friends.
also forgot the fact some of my friends will get the WiiU and i really wonder how i will be able to intereact with my 3ds.

hahaha this is an impressive list indeed, but my budget is limited, as well as my gaming time.
i have kids and a full time job to manage

thats another reason i keep it. my bus to work is some great videogaming time. the 3ds is so much appreciated there.

believe me, it's worth keeping hold of your 3DS, because from the time the holiday season kicks in, that's when we should see lots of 3ds games.

If you're seriously unhappy with the purchase, sell it while you can. Good games are starting to come now, but not at a fast enough pace. I'm seriously wishing I held off on buying one and just waited for one of the hardware revisions, and judging by current events, that won't be far off.

Best get rid of it while the current model is actually worth something.

Never sell your 3DS. Play some DS games in the meantime. There are so many good games coming out within a couple of months.

I was one fo the first day buyers who paid out his hind side the this thing and I wasn't happy with the twenty free games as they're mostly Marion and I have multiple copies of each. HOWEVER... I AM enjoying Ocarina and Star fox a lot, well clancys Shadow wars also.. bu8t once I heard they're releaseing a Fire EMblem and Atari a Roller Coaster Tycoon, I quickley changed my mind. Also I suppose slow 3rd party (temporary I'm sure, they just need inspiration ideas) puts more pressure on Nintendo to release a 3d version of my all time favorite game... Advance Wars 3d! (hey the FE previews look good and they also make AW too, which would use the same type of 3d effects) ANYWAY I also have a massive backlog of DSi games (even though I still have my black dsi and XL, each serves a unique desire in gaming for me... Fire Emblem? Roller Coaster Tycoon? yeah I'm waiting for the eventual flood of support once the pita vizzles I mean the Vita fizzles.. Beside being able to play mario kart 1st person view (it's been verified) will be cool especially while using the kite and underwater vehicles... I'm in for a dime, and in for a dollar I guess. On various sites I have seen a lot more 3rd party support promises and titles to come (very recently) that is more than rumors.... they're just not listed YET on Nintendos site

Obliterate what the 3DS has to offer? Wut?

The only game Ps3 has coming for the rest of the year is Uncharted 3 for me. While that game alone will probably be better than both Mario Kart 7 and Mario 3D Land, in my opinion, I'm having a hard time seeing how it obliterates the 3DS games. Each to his own though.

I would definitely not sell it. But do as you please.

Eh, the ambassador thing kind of moved my 3DS to the list of things I am not willing to sell.

You can sell yours if you want though. It's not like you can't buy another one later.

bleh, don't expect much from a nintendo site. Not even counting the amazing upcoming titles for the PS3, its backlog already blows anything released/announced for the 3DS.

Ok, this seems silly. Your budget and time are limited, yet you got both the 3DS and PS3?

i bought the 3ds at launch, mainly because i wanted to game in the bus and my DS is used by my girlfriend and kids.
i received the ps3, as a gift. someone let me burrow a couple of games, they are more than good. (uncharted 2 is some serious gaming there, im impressed)
and by looking at demos i downloaded, especially ratchet and clank games, i was seriously thinking to sell the 3ds.
(im a ratchet fan, played them all on ps2 intensively)
but i recently saw them used for 10 dollars each so...
and the other titles that obliterate 3ds upcoming games are Skyrim and battlefield 3/modern warfar 3. been a big fan of oblivion, so yet its another franchise that i played older games and really want to give a shot at the next installments.

ill keep the 3DS, just wont buy anything until a while. like i said, when skyrim comes out, it will be my main game for at least a year ! (if it keeps oblivion or morrowing richness and deep content)

It's your choice. I'd wait on selling in case something good does come out and you might regret it later (not to mention may lose some money to repurchase)

also another reason not to sell the 3DS is the virtual console- there should be some stellar games available for it like super mario land 2, metroid 2 to name.
