I was at Target in Newbury Park California and noticed that the Wii version is "Tempory Price Reduced" for $35 until Jan 7th. Most likely its that price other Targets as well.

Just a warning for those waiting on the 3DS version. On Wii Rayman looks very tiny because the game has this kinda zoomed out look. All the character sprites are really small even on my 27 inch TV. I imagine on 3DS it'll look Microscopic. Hope you can see well enough on that little handheld screen.

@paburrows - I noticed that too; I live in the southern suburbs of Chicago. However, I got it for $30 on Black Friday, so it's not like I care that much

That's assuming there hasn't been any changes for the 3DS version--it is too early to tell.

I was thinking about maybe picking the Wii version up but if the 3DS version turns out just as well then it might be a tough choice. I'm in no rush to decide though, got plenty of other games to keep me occupied and even though it looks good, I'm really not desperate to play it.
Just a heads up I just found and bought the Wii version at Toys R Us tonight for $20. I read on another site that they were pricing at that price so I checked their website http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11965106 and found it for $20 so then I went to the store itself and its still marked at $49.99, but when the clerk checked it, it rang up at $20! Not sure if this is a temporary price or permanant though.

It's a brilliant game, I bought it for the Wii last month. However, the graphics should be crisper and even more brilliantness is to be expected from the 3DS version. So I sold the one I had and will pick up the 3DS one instead.
Current 3DS games: Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time, Super Mario 3D Land, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars, Super Street Fighter IV 3D, Ridge Racer 3D.
I rented the Wii version and I loved it, if the 3DS version has online or local multiplayer I'll pick it up.
So many good games, so little money to spend.
