Topic: Pokemon X and Y

I hate it when people say only noobs use ubers. A noob wouldn't know how to use my bad boy 6iv ev trained shiny timid Darkrai. I just use dark void and let the onslaught of dark pulses, ice beams, and thunder bolts speak for themselves. Besides, people who speak ill of ubers ofter use mega stones which brings junk-mon up to ubers status so whats the big deal?

uuh... difference is mega evolutions lose an item.. for example mega evolving a gardevoir gets less of a SpA boost than a life orb when it could run specs instead. So... no... mega evolutions are no where near close to uber status.. at all.

Darkrai on the other hand has regularly high stats.. can hold an item.. and abuses dark void with it's ability as well as can nasty plot and sweep instantly with no strategy at all.. You litteraly can't stop darkrai especially if they're sashed with anything.

There are are good legendaries who get banned to ubers like darkrai and such.. and there are bad ones who stay in OU like the latis and even zygarde is UU because it has a terrible typing, movepool, and ability which only affects two pokemon who both are immune to either one of it's STABs..

And yes.. some mega evolutions DID get banned to ubers such as megaskhan, gengar, and lucario because they DID get a good stat boost/ability change unlike the others who are more useless then their regular selves. Pinsir hasen't been banned but I'm arguing that as he is kinda OP after a mega.. but due to rocks and low movepool and typing he can be painfully weak.

Feel free to use him tho just don't think you're #1 because you got a darkrai in OU matches.

And Darkrai is really cheap in terms of having almost zero strategy to use.

And the fact that if you use the set which tries to buy enough turns to get rid of it its completely walled by ghosts....

There should be tier for Regigigas only, even all NU are more useful.

Which is why Slaking should carry Taunt (is that even a thing? LOL). New meta.

The big deal is that darkrai can put to sleep and sweep most of the ou Pokemon with even a newbie using it. Its OP

I was thinking... Is there anyway bychance we could start a tournament? Like our own little tournament on NL (atleast just in this thread..) with a handful of X/Y players? Of course anybody can join.. even Non-NL users.. basicly anybody that can be recruited.

@Xtremetdifan Just saw this.. Nah it's fine. I'd be easier for me to just add it to the large transfer during genning. I thought I had both a shiny and non shiny at the time

And just saying guys.. I genned myself ALOT... AND I MEAN ALOT of different combinations of hidden powers and natures for almost every legendary... I'll post a complete list so if you need me to clone these I can do that at anytime even after wi-fi is down! I also genned ALOT of move tutor only pokemon like signal beam jolteon and as some OU Hidden power users.

Seriously pretend we can still pokegen and ask me if you need anything I odds are I might have it to pokegen. I'll post a completed list of what I got later.

@ShadowFox254 I genned everything but I'm not transfering them over until I'm complete.

Milotic was not aloud to have both hypnosis and mirror coat at the same time for some reason even tho they're egg moves..

I made four total milotic.. with two calm ones having either mirror coat or hypno and two modest ones with mirror coat or hypno.

I made only one machamp as I can just clone it and ability capsule.

If you need anything shiny/nonshiny I'll just double clone everything all at once on my x/y and I can shinify everything you want all at one time. The espeons are shiny.

If we got enough people then I'd love to start a tournament, with 8 players we could have a 1st round, semi-final, and Championship! From the forums I could see at least 4 players, maybe 8 if enough wanted to participate. Maybe we could have an annual NL Pokémon tournament, and if more wanted to join, than more battles! I'd like to start a tournament @stomatopod17 and @shadowfox254 However, one question remains: What would the victor receive?
What if:
1st Place receives Shiny 6IV copy of favorite Pokémon and gets to have:"2014 NL Pokémon Master" in their sig
2nd Place receives BLAH BLAH
3rd Place receives BLAH
Anyone have ideas for prizes? Oh and sorry about the wait, finals prep.

I can maybe offer pokebank celebi or any wonder card pokemon to the victor.. or like you said any shiny 6IV pokemon.. but thing is if we only have us to attend @Gridatttack, @ShadowFox254, @GuSilverFlame, @WingedSnagret, @Xtremetdifan, @Me, @Wulfey, @BenAV just to name a few.. we all know each other and what don't we have already? Everybody knows me.. I can clone effortlessly with no charge and making people work for something that's to me no problem at all to get.. so it's like why would I make one of you guys work for something I could've made for free 10 minutes ago.. If we had like 24+ people gathered then of course we can have more options as there would be more strangers not familiar with my habits

Any 3 6 IV shiny pokemon of your choice, all competitive bred (some restrictions for legendaries and move tutor moves)
or
Any 5 Items of your choice including ability capsules, mega stones (except eons), starf berries, lansat, master balls, rare candies, etc..
or maybe even...
The winner gets to host their own tornument with their own set rules and such to keep the tornuments going!
