Speaking of Pokémon breeding, am I the only one who finds it weird when Mohn says "I saw [Pokemon] and [Different Pokemon] playing together very nicely.
Very nicely indeed".
The official website says we'd be getting pokebank in january and an update for the national dex with it, and unless I misread it, your pokedex from the past game should carry over data.
So, here's to hoping next week.

Finally got around to the ultra beasts the third one was a pain in the ass kept getting one shot deaths. Necrozma was pretty easy maybe 4 or 5 dusk balls was surprised by that I still got a master ball too.
Adding to this damn got hit with a communication error ban hopefully it's not for too long. Surprised it didn't happen earlier was swapping back and forth between the game and gts. Worst part is I still need 1 more trade getting a Lunala for my 2nd Solgaleo then all I need is to evolve cleffa fully and Null to complete the Alola Pokedex
I finally got around to using the Pokemon I breed some time ago, and my hyper trained muk (since the pelliper I got ended up with the wrong ability >_>), in the battle tree.
Sheesh mimikyu totally stole the spotlight. It basically destroyed everything. It even ohko'd all of Red's pokemon.
Muk and feraligatr barely had any chance to play.
But hey that's the basic singles down. I may do the others some day.
The one time we almost lost was when a darned rotom started to use double team and confuse ray. Muk managed to poison it.
Yeah, Z-splash Mimikyu is a powerhouse in the Battle Tree. I use it most in Super Singles, because it seems that by the time it gets taken out by something (IF it gets taken out by something) the opposing team is already too crippled to do anything to the two other members on my team anyway.
Wide lens is a pretty good idea. I've had entire streaks ruined because of bad luck runs with play rough. Edited: Nvm, red card isn't given to you early on. Shouldn't take too long to rack up those battle points though.
So Gen 1 Pokémon sent up get a special mark, have at least 3 Max IVs, a random nature...and may have their hidden ability. Which means abilities are likely dished out at random.
Welp, who wants that No Guard Fissure Machamp?

I hope that Mewium Z means Mew will be a gift Pokemon worldwide. Think i missed out on a Mew a year or two ago that was actually available in North America. Also kinda off topic but holy crap the Poke Transporter is tedious 1 box at a time and they have to be in box 1.
Ive now come to realise why Sun and Moon has no native National Pokedex. Ive got my PC organised in that order up to 802, which is that thing that isnt released yet. There are only 5 boxes after that, and two are full of IV pokemon.
What. Did they not do a little math? Oh GameFreak. Never stop being dumb

Something else...can anyone tell me why in the world my marvel scale Dragonairs don't keep the bloody HA when I evolve them? This was the third one now and I'm getting incredibly pissy because of this. I already "wasted" a shiny with optimal IVs because of this nonsense as well :/
Dragonite has the HA Multiscale so it will never have Marvel Scale.
