Topic: Original Classic The Legend of Zelda question?

Hello All,

I am new to this forum and this is my first post! I have a question I need help with about the first release in 1987 The Legend of Zelda. I see this game available on the nintendo eshop under 3ds clasic games. Is this game in 2D or 3D? it says 3D but in not convinced and I dont want to waste my money. If that is not the 3D version is there one available

3D Classics of NES games can be viewed with the 3D on. Usually you can preview screenshots in 3D as well.

Um... 3DS has The Legend of Zelda on Virtual Console, the only 3D Classics games are:

• ExciteBike
• Kirby's Adventure
• Kid Icarus
• Xevious
• Twinbee

(Plus all the SEGA 3D games that just got released)

Didn't Zelda have a 3D classics as well? i remember seeing something about it., like maybe it was a bonus offer or something.
EDIT: Never mind, I was thinking of Kid Icarus, lol

So I i download this game from the 3DS itself from the e shop it can be played in 3D?

if it has no "3D classics" in the name you can't play in 3D.... unless the Sega ones don't have it but this rule applies to the Nintendo ones as far as I know.

If its not a 3D Classic then it can't be in 3D.

As far as I am aware, there is no 3D Classics Legend of Zelda. (Quick Google Search confirms )

Yeah I thought a 3D Classics Zelda was released for OoT 3D, but I was actually thinking of Kid Icarus, lol

No. You cannot play it in 3D. It is not in 3D. It is the original NES version of the game.
