I definitely plan to get one. If I can figure out how how to transfer my data and trade/sell my current 3DS XL.

I vote yes since all the upgraded features are too good to pass up. Also it wouldn't be the first time I brought a 2.0 version of a handheld. Past example, a ds to a dsi.

I will only get one when there is an exclusive I want. I already have Xenoblade on Wii so no need to get the 3DS version

As of right now probably not, since I'm saving up for a Wii U. My original 3DS is still in great condition, so I don't really see the need to upgrade until I see an exclusive game that I really want to play. Xenoblade isn't enough to convince me since I already own the game.

I voted yes because from the looks of it, it fixes some of the issues the originals have.

Now I'm even more frustrated because I need to get cash for the Wii U as well....DAMM!!!!!!!!!!!

Question is what happens with games I currently use the Circle Pad Pro for. (If it could just fit into the old one that will be ok).

Im getting it, got my 3DS with the XL release.

Cant wait im all for stop gaps in handheld gaming before the next one comes, almost 4 years after the release of the original its enough time considering how fast technology is advancing (around the same time the Galaxy S2 was just released, which nowdays feels like a brick considering we are on the S5... except i love my Moto X )

I'll be getting the Regular sized model whenever it comes to the US.

I'll get one eventually, just not at launch.

Of course I have no choice, if I want to play the games that are coming out. I'm going to need it, plus they have stated that games that are going to be released will use the new system.

They said there would be some exclusives and some games would take advantage of the better hardware, but still run on the Old 3DS.

Xenoblade 3D was enough of a reason for me to consider it. But after realizing how cheap it is to import one from Australia, I was convinced. That way, I can also save repair costs for my old 3DS, since it's finally starting to wear down. Besides, the Kisekae are a cool addition, and I'm only waiting for the right one to decorate mine.

I'm gonna try to hold out, since I doubt the next portable will be far off, but I wouldn't surprised if I wind up getting one in the end...
