I don't know how but I managed to beat G2 Azure Rathalos and a Tigrex. That opened up a bunch more single monsters so I may be able to reach my urgent after all. That took me a good 43 minutes too and 2 faints.

The lifegain is really minimal. Like status weapons, it only procs every few hits. I wish it was more of a departure from the normal playstyle, though I've no idea how they could have balanced that. Glad the system is gone in Cross.
So then it's sounding like Defense it the way to go to me. Guess ill need to experiment a bit. If I do a lot of solo quests then that little bit of extra health makes more of a difference but hunting in groups seems like the other 2 choices might be better. Thanks to both of you for your answers.

Well I am not getting Generations day one sadly, so I guess I will still be around for 4U hunts. I still have to make a good gunner set, made one for Pierce Bow (which is sadly underpowered) but got no good bow to use it with xD
Anyone available tomorrow? As in 10 - 17 hours from the time I post?
