I forgot that playing with randoms is an option. Once I take out the Fatalis, I'll give it a try. Edit: Fatalis was not so hard this time I battled it, since I was using an Insect Glaive with a type advantage instead of the Longsword. Plus it's much easier for me to do well now I'm at home instead of on the bus.
I wasn't talking about monster Hunter I was trying to contact members to let me back in a line check that I can't access because I left my phone at work. There is no private messaging on this site so the only way I can get in contact with them is to tag them in a message.

I tried doing the Bomb Over Gogmazios DLC Quest the other day with a friend, and well, it didn't turn out so well since he seems to hit harder than regular Gog lol. We tried doing it with randoms and you know how that goes with randoms lol, we get people who were obviously carried, people standing near the dragonator and uses it before Gog is near, randoms not jumping off a platform if it's getting lasered, decent hunters that leave after 1 fail and hackers who can't even hunt properly (why??).
The quest was just pretty meh and I kinda wished the subquest gave tickets so I can finish an armor set I'm making for my White Fatalis LBG. Hoping to have some people from here to help me with this at some point since I'd rather not drag my friend into Gog again haha, though I'd have to see what day I'm not busy. Kinda leaning towards Thursday or the weekend since I'm probably gonna do Low Rank stuff with some of my friends since one of them bought this game recently.
Well, seeing how I'm actually pretty good at soloing the normal Gog now, maybe we can take them on this weekend? (though his beam explosion still gets me sometimes) But yeah, taking a break after dealing with White Fatalis.

The Silver Rathalos seemed to have sooo much health. It took me over 30 minutes of constant battling in the small area to slay it. After checking, my weapon had the absolute worst element against it. Still, it was great fun to jump in the air using the Insect Glaive, and I got lots of topples.
Well, went against a normal Brachy with the Glaive for the first time...did pretty well...killed him in about 10 minutes. Still can't even come close to killing Raging, though...go figure. >.>
