So yes, I agree with what both you and @TLoL are saying, how the Melee counters the Ranged, and how they are both fair, you could say, in their own sense.
Well, it's not quite that simple. The way I've been thinking it works it's like if there are 4 types of attacks: long range, mid range, short range and melee. In general, the way it goes is like long range>mid range>short range>melee, but there are a few exceptions. Another important thing is the type of the attack, but counters are not really clear that way.
@Knuckles Yep, that's kinda how it works for Melee.
Btw, nice Palutena Bow.
Thanks, I got it while trying to make a better Laser Staff, and I will leave you at that for details on the staff, and let you imagine what I was trying to make.
The only people who would know about it are all gone, as I tried to make this one originally.
@GCNMan I think you mean the players with the most points won't be able to join until the 3rd Aurum Matches, not the players with the least amount of points.
I was thinking that the people with the lowest total score would be eliminated from the next Aurum Games but if you guys like @Knuckles idea better we could do that?
No problem, guys.
It's always good to have backup, though you'll have to excuse me if I'm not very active on this forum for a bit. Sticker Star will be taking up my time for a while.
I still think there should be more threads on unique KI:U matches. There is so much potential for varied category matches for this game.
We could have extreme categories like 'Bow vs Arms, Clubs vs Staffs, Cannons vs Claws'. Also could have scenarios like 'Team A vs Team B must have 1 far ranged weapon user, 1 close ranged weapon user, and 1 weapon of choice user.' Or value limit matches where we would only be able to use weapons with certain value numbers to keep it more balanced and fair.
The list can go on but we need more threads to keep matches orderly and regular which I am totally for. What do you all think?

Jeremy.... we do that too. When someone opens a room, he has a choice of posting here that it is a claws only battle, or a staff only battle, etc. Or sometimes it not like that, I know when @Prof_Clayton opened a room and said you could not use the same weapon twice, but you could do Magnus, Electroshock Magnus, Electroshock, etc. If you want a special battle, just post here, then of FL post that you must read NL before entering.
Good example to prove my point: @GamecubeMan is holding an Aurum games. You can only use Aurum weapons and/or claws. Last month I held a Zodiac Battle, where you had to use your Zodiac's weapon(example: I was born in early July, so I had to use Cancer Claws). If your Zodiac had a power, you had to use the next zodiac's weapon, but also had to use your zodiac's power.
Hello, I've been summoned here once again. I'll explain how to remove a star from a field completely.
This is useful when you found your dream mod but it has stars in a field you don't want.
To get rid of either mods or stars, you fuse with the appropriate group. If you want to get rid of stars, go with a higher group which favours mods.
Fuse the weapon with a lower valued weapon. If you don't want to waste a lot weapons, I reccommend you fuse with a value 100 weapon from group 4/5. Make sure the resulted weapon keeps your mod. For a star to disappear, your weapon needs to be around 150 value and have half a star to the field you want to rid. Then, again fuse with a value 100 from group 4/5, you'll eventually get there.
From my experience, getting rid of Melee stars is easier than Ranged stars probably because it is less valued. We can guess that if you want to keep a high valued mod (let's say Shot Cancellation), it'll be easier to get rid of Ranged stars instead.
It pretty goes like this: High Mod+Melee(Low)=Low Mod+Ranged(High)
It is possible to keep a high value mod while getting rid of Melee stars. You can use a negative mod to lower the value. But, I don't reccomend to try keeping 2 mods, whether it is one negative mod+mod or 2 mods. It's a lot of effort and hope to do. It's still possible though.
Do know that you can do the opposite to result a lot of stars but no mods. Back then, I used to be really proud of my 6 Ranged stars, no mod Bullet Blade.
Nice guide, Ruceyod, I have nothing to nitpick about. The hardest mods to get off a mixed star weapon are the negative ones, as they can only pass to some values(let's say for example that it passes when fused weapons with values between 100-105, then it doesn't pass to 106-109, then it passes to 110-114, etc.), and that can easily screw you over when it doesn't pass to weapons which could eliminate the unwanted stars. Also, since they lower the value of the weapon, you have to keep more high value mods with it to keep the stars low. This means that you are practically passing two mods instead of one, which can make this a very frustrating experience.
