Just got this game after it being on my wish log for like 3 years. I'm enjoying this indie gem at the moment. I feel like Nintendo missed a big opportunity to give Mr. Game & Watch a fresh new game. I would've loved a 2D platformer with him in it, using different weapons from his history.

IFO doesn't interest me in the slightest, but a 2D (maybe even 3D) platformer starring Mr. Game & Watch built around the various G&W games/gimmicks from over the years would be amazing. I can't see such a concept evolving into a series/franchise, but it would nevertheless be a great homage to Nintendo's legacy in a similar vein to the NES Remix games.

"Gee, that's really persuasive. Do you have any actual points to make other than to essentially say 'me Tarzan, physical bad, digital good'?"

I'm surprised I miss this thread back in September, it's nice to see someone enjoying this one. I remember wanting it and buying it on sale a good while back, and loved it. Really a nice indie tribute to Game and Watch IMHO.

The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!

Slightly offtopic, but Ultra Mega Xtra Party Challenge, which seems heavily inspired by the WarioWare games, especially Smooth Moves, contains a microgame that also strongly resembles a Game & Watch game (it's perhaps most similar to Juggle, though the aim is to catch all of the falling apples in your basket), and even the character model resembles Mr. Game & Watch, albeit with more exaggerated features (likely to avoid claims of copyright infringement).
