Chapter 10 in Conquest was really irritating. Nobody died but they were hanging by threads.
I don't like the ones where its a battle that isn't either routing or defeating the boss. It's always some bs like this one was. Bombardment over and over and all you can do is push back even though you technically stand no chance. Yuck. Also not liking No Challenges, even though the grinding in Birthright didn't really push me over the edge much, I'd enjoy some more gold without that DLC lol but otherwise yay Conquest!!

@Dankykong: Its not that bad honestly. Its just that you have a weak merchant and a wyern rider as well as a horrible sorcerer that make this quite tough.

Simply use that dumb girl on the left with some one of decent stats and use Selvara, Odin and Felicia to beat those archers on far right.

At least my lovely Camilla showed up! Can you also tell me how to hide spoilers like how you did?

I'll admit that I used a few battle saves but that's because I'm in a situation where I don't have so much of time and plus I already got myself burned in Final Fantasy Tactics last year.

I actually want more of this variety in TRPGs to be honest as it give more variety in tactical thinking.

Buddy, you should've gotten Birthright if you just wanted the Awakening path the whole time.

Speaking of which, Fates has now reached a million copies before it even launched in Europe.

Now you may think this isn't true. But let's be real here. We haven't as of now gotten tracking of DLC as well as the digital sales here and since Nintendo has only revealed sales in the first three days, its obvious that this can easily get to 1 million before the release of Europe.

@Dankykong defend chapters are actually my favourite haha. I did have some trouble on that chapter though and I heard it can be very hard on the hard and lunatic difficulties.
Personally I find the route and defeat boss chapters okay, but I really like some other kinds of chapters more in FE. Conquest is meant to be more like most of the older Fire Emblem games where you couldn't grind. In my play through though, I think I did use too many characters at first (doing the same in Revelations...) so I did have some troubles in the later chapters.

@DoctorOverbuild: I like Fire Emblem 6-7, I love Genealogy (even if I failed all my tries on it) and I relatively enjoyed what I played from Awakening. I never played If or Fates, but I already hate the game due to the way it is sold.

Yes I'm playing on Hard, so it went nuts at turn 9. It all went by fast until those last 2 turns. I liked the grinding but only to prolong the game and do the relationship stuff. It feels like I'm breezing through Conquest. While it is slightly more difficult, nobody has died yet and I'm finishing the chapters a bit faster than Birthright so far for some reason. I'm enjoying it but in a different way than Birthright, I expected to feel similar about this but I don't have a mirrored opinion so much.
Ugh scary moments when Azura has 9HP and she manages to miss getting hit 4 times in a row with the help of Felicia?!?!? Both of them are so terrible at their starts but then whoop butt later.

The weirdest thing about her is that she can level up even beyond 20. Her stats still aren't that great besides her luck though.

Atleast her skills are useful.

I almost wish there was something for her to upgrade into though. Besides her Sing ability, she felt a bit under utilized in Birthright when she was at level 28. But yeah, Sing, so useful, it's saved me so much time. During Birthright she gained her first few levels only by singing haha. I was dumb and didn't think to give her a weapon but it never mattered.

@Socar regarding Azura's class, some classes in FE don't have promotions and therefore will usually go passed level 20. Classes like Azura's dancer class, lodestar, vanguard, etc. all don't have a promotion so they go to level 40. I believe the villager class in Awakening went to level 30 or so.

my unit: /has an 85% hit rate and 25% crit chances
myunit: /misses three times
enemy unit: /has a 20% hit rate and 2% crit chances
also the enemy unit: /runs a marathon, makes a basket, does the bayonetta taunt dance then crit hits my unit

I got slaughtered on the History DLC thanks to bad luck

To the people who bought and completed Hidden Truths, how's that Grandmaster class?

@Rei: €100 isn't bad compared to scalpers, I also hate the way the game is being released. I wished they would've done three versions one with all three on a cartridge not as a limited edition so anyone who wanted it could get it!

I have to add the strongly probable frontier fees and the french TVA (Swiss isn't in the Union and has a lower TVA).
But yes, the chances are high that I get a better final price.

@Rei: Well I hope you get a good price! We all want to play the complete game haha!

I now wish we had challenges in Conquest so I could get more buildings in my castle I guess you have to nearly finish it to get all the buildings, although a couple things were free. You have to get pretty far through the story to have a filled realm.

@Dankykong I visited a lot of other castles in my play through to get more dragonvein points so I had enough for making and upgrading all the buildings

Ah, I'll do that then. I was like this is a touch ridiculous lol
