Topic: Detective Pikachu game

It lives!

I fully expected this to be another useless thread from someone requesting Nintendo to make a (Detective Pikachu) game.

This game looks great.

After watching the trailer I still don't get this game.

I did not expect Pikachu's voice to be that deep.

They obviously wanted to give him a very detectivey voice.

This scratches two of my itches: Pokemon and sleuthing. I'll be keeping an eye on it.

It's a mix of "what the hell why what" and "I want to play it".

This artwork looks like really crappy fanfic that belongs to the dark corner of talentless deviantart hall of fame.

Still this game looks like creepy pasta material with the fanfic quality wet dream (furry... it worked so great for Sanic) that is totally "worth" the price.
Sometimes you wonder who greenlits things like this. I think the way to fix this is when they are sitting down thinking or throwing away ideas to what greenlit, they should play russian rulette. With 6 bullets in cylinder.

I would be shocked and amazed if it gets release outside of Japan.

It's a game no one knew they wanted until they saw it.

I like it and I hope they release it here in the West. I like that Pikachu is talking and I love the look of the game.

The human guy that's with Detective Pikachu looks horrible... And if this game isn't witty then forget it.

Is Slurpuff eating a muffin? And if so, does it contain cherries? And if so, would that constitute cannibalism?

I'm going to get to the bottom of this mystery or my name isn't Detective Pikachu.

@arronishere: Of course you wouldn't because we don't even know what the game is about in the first place.

Can't say much about the game because I don't know if it'll play a lot like Professor Layton but its good to see Nintendo taking risks even riskier than now. Just shows that Nintendo will try out anything.

I'm going to be honest guys, this game looks like it came out of nowhere and the graphics look plain disturbing and terrible.
It feels like they put a bunch of random ideas in a bucket and randomly pick one to create a game about.
