Hi my son got a 3ds from santa ,,,christmas 2011 and we cant download free games from the eshop ? do we qualify for ambassador program ? or where can we download free games?

If you haven't registered it yet I don't think you can qualify now; not 100% sure on that though maybe someone else can say for sure, as for free games there was 1 but it was for a limited time only and is no longer available.

@DAVIDB - Unfortunately, unless you bought your 3DS and connected it to the eShop before August 12, 2011, you do not qualify for the Ambassador program and cannot download the 20 Ambassador games for free.

If you connected to the Eshop before August 2011, your eligible to the Ambassador program. Otherwise, no. Sorry.

There is no way you can buy the Ambassador games since you bought a 3DS after the deadline.
