As this game is currently half price i was wandering what are your thoughts on this game as it seems to have framerate issues which were patched but not fully etc
But since I'm here, I might as well give my two cents on the matter...
Do. Not. Get. This.
It's a poorly optimized beat-em-up with stiff movement and controls, actually ugly and really blurry graphics, and a sporadic difficulty. Most of the cast is rather unlikeable and a good chunk of them are terribly voice-acted. You cannot play as every party member in your group, and even though they do spice up the game somewhat, it's the stiff controls and unpolished graphics that will ultimately prevent you from having fun with this game.
If you want a good beat-em-up, I suggest looking into Dragon's Crown on PS3/Vita and/or Phantom Breaker on Steam (though that one has weird controls as well).
I disagree with those above. I thought this game was a lot of fun and I didn't have any issue with the controls. I bought it on sale and really enjoyed it.
Yeah, this game is a very unpleasant way to make a beat 'em up. If the combo system and the controls weren't so unresponsive and stiff, this would actually be quite fun, but the way it is, it's just a matter of who spams the best, which gets boring very quickly when the movesets of each character are way too limited. Definitely not worth the asking price by a long shot.
Man, I really disagree with you guys. Here's a great review on the game: http://www.destructoid.com/review-code-of-princess-236347.phtml I just hope some folks aren't turned off by your experience with it. While this game might not be for everyone, if you're into this style of game, you should definitely give Code of Princess a try.
What I've played is alright, but if you're not into enemies that can cheese you out, be warned that it has plenty of those. Nintendolife gave it a 9. Code of Princess is a relatively early 3DS title so that may have given it an edge in comparison to the mediocre games that came before it. That said it hasn't grabbed me long enough to see the story through to the end so i guess you really have to be in the mood for a game of its ilk.
My opinion is: it's pretty bad. I don't get why it got an 9, it deserves a 6.
Isn't it a bit early in the day to start talking about gothic architecture?
Well, if you care to come a bit closer, we can discuss things of another nature.
