(This is for the U.S.) Yea, pretty much as topic. Every New Nintendo 2DS or 3DS I'm seeing on the major sites like Amazon, Walmart, etc. are at least 400 bucks. I'm pretty set against getting a used one, and honestly I'm willing to pay around 300 bucks.
Any ideas?
(This is a luxury purchase, not an absolute need. I have a 3DS XL but always wanted to get a New model. Well, I waited too long apparently haha)
@rallydefault For new, as far as I've seen, your only options are ebay, amazon. I wish I had better news for ya. For Christmas last year, my brother got the black/blue New 2DS XL for $300-$320. The black/blue is the likely the most affordable. The purple and white/orange models are more rare, harder to get, and cost more. ....Walmart probably has some third party sellers, too, but Walmart third party always seems like a shady deal. (I ordered a new Samsung phone charging wall plug via Walmart third party, and we sent an old scuffed up one.)
Edit: Although, I have to admit, I've only searched/seen 2DS XL's. I haven't paid attention to regular 2DS, but I think their status is likely the same - inflated prices from the same places.
@rallydefault Let us know how things go, or the best deal you find - even if you don't buy. Last night, I think I saw the orange or purple 2ds xl for $300 (new condition) - on amazon or ebay.

Yea, I'll let you know. A couple orange New 2DS XL on Ebay around 250 with a couple days of bidding to go. There's a black/blue 2DS XL right now for 350, but I'm not gonna pounce until I can maybe get something at 300.
