Topic: Atomic Purple

I want my 3DS XL this color. could someone explain why they don't make awesome color schemes anymore? XL's colors are so boring!

I have no idea why Nintendo doesn't just do it already. They'd make a TON if they sold 3DSs/XLs in that color.

Yeah, nostalgia sells well.

You can always look into skins, or a can of spray paint.

@Tasuki They sell skins/spray paint that will make your 3DS clear?

I wouldn't spraypaint my DS, even if it is lame.

I'm still just gonna keep waiting until the US gets good XL colors.

Cases are ugly IMHO. stickers too, 'cause you can see that's stickers. Painting is dangerous as heck and paint doesn't behave well on plastic most of the time. Also, neither of those options gets me a transparent 3DS.

My bad forgot that the atomic purple was the clear purple (I am on my phone and the link in the first post didnt work) I was thinking it was a solid. And if you couldnt tell I was joking about the spray paint.

It is possible to spray paint your 3DS; just put some what-do-ya-call-it tape on everything you don't want to paint.

It is, however, not advisable to do to a $200 device.

You could take apart your 3DS and do it that way too.
