Topic: Any 3d compatible sites for browser?

Posts 21 to 40 of 43

Burn

From what I've read, Ubisoft outfitted their site to be compatible. But every time I visit the site, it shows a popup in the center of the page that says something like "uh-oh, your browser is not compatible. Try one of these..."

Does anyone know what's up? Maybe I'm going to the wrong part of the site, but all the links point in to that specific page. Btw, I'm typing this from my 3DS browser right now

No.

Downloading and uploading 3D photo's... just wow... this is simply awesome! Haven't found any 3D enabled sites though.

Doesn't share3ds.com have... y'know... girls dressing up? :3

Tried uploading stuff to Facebook and it ultimately fails, I wish Nintendo kept the ability to post pictures up from the Camera on DSi... ah well...

So the images the browser uploads actually end in MPO.JPG extensions, and based on the file sizes I think those files do actually contain the data for the MPO rather than just being JPG files, but if I try to view one of those MPO.JPG files with the browser it obviously isn't aware of how to read the data to view it as an MPO because it just appears as a 2D image in the browser still.

They don't have the 3D function on the browser.

There definitely is a second image embedded in the MPO.JPG files that the browser uploads.

Edit: Those MPO.JPG files the 3DS uploads are actually MPO files. I compared the files on my computer, and they're identical, and I put the MPO.JPG back on my 3DS and it showed up in 3D alongside the original 3D MPO file. Interestingly, my Mac has no idea how to open an MPO nor can Safari display them, but if I rename an MPO to JPG both will display it as a JPG. Firefox has no problem showing MPOs as JPGs without my having to rename them. So I'm guessing they renamed our MPO files to JPGs for no reason other than to accommodate stupid browsers.

I made a CYOA game... It's made to be played on the 3DS, and I will post 3D illustrations of what's going on.

Well I was a little confused then.

If I wasn't, I would meant; You can't view the sites in 3D.

can someone point the 3DS browser here and tell us if that works?

YES IT DOES WORK!!!!!!! why couldnt you guys figure this out?! in the 3ds browser click and hold the image then release. the image will go to the top screen and will be in 3D. the bottom screen will ask you if you want to download it! (only if the image uploaded is a .mpo, and that one is.)

This person speaks the truth! Try it, it works!

Has anybody heard about http://www.3ds-screenshot.com ?

I've visited the site before Super Mario 3D Land released and got some nice shots of the game, but I haven't visited the site since. Thanks for reminding me about it. Looks like they got some Mario Kart 7 pics posted!

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.
