Why do people pay for certain villagers? What does that do ?

@Memaw1 Well lots of people have like a "Dream villager list" and depending on the popularity of the villager they can go for a lot.

Ok, now intrigued, what makes a dream villager? I have broffina, clay, Rodney , limberg, victoria. Ed, Boone, Harry, maple and Victoria' for example. Clay is fun, maple is needy, broffina and Harry are eh, Victoria talks a lot, Rodney is sweet,

No, no. A Dream villager is a villager that someone wishes was in their village. It varies from person to person. For instance, Phoebe is my number 1 dream villager.

Well, what do you like about Maple?

She's cute, always needs something, which can get annoying. Someone like clay is better, wants to play hide n seek, gives you stuff all the time, never fights w anyone else. But more than having a favorite ( had phoebe, who talked about herself all the time,) is having ones you really don't like (to me)
