QUESTION

I went to visit my villager Cole and I noticed he had all Cabana Furniture. I stayed awhile, opened drawers, mooning over everything. Is there any way to get a villager to give you any of his/her furniture especially when it's the rare stuff, like cabana?

The only time I've acquired furniture from a villager is when they ask you to come over and then offer to sell something to you.
