We are all going a bit nuts over at Fogu about this. Gamestop, Best Buy, Xseed and everyone else is saying the release date is still Feb 28. Amazon is saying it's May 2. A number of us have posted email we've received from Amazon, but they all say different things. All are extraordinarily polite but seem to be more along the cya lines than informative.
Many on fogu using amazon.ca are reporting they have been told they won't actually get the game til March 8 though.
From all the emails from Amazon.com posted they are insisting the May 2 date is right due to product availability. They originally had Feb 28 but was changed a couple days ago.
Tis puzzlement. I've got a copy reserved at Gamestop just in case.
