I seriously don't get it. Why these regional differences?

Anyhoo, NA I guess...

Yellow, pink and white of the PAL cover make a nice contrast.

One of the toughest yet. Pink, yellow, orange... they all speak to me.

Europe has to score points for using yellow, which is Wario's colour but, when it came time to pick, my finger fell on the pink of North America. One where the heart ruleth over the head, I guess.

I am bias towards the European release as it's my regional release, but Wario, and particularly WarioWare, is so strongly associated with the colour yellow to me I have to say the European cover is objectively my favourite.

I could understand if North America got orange to match their version of WarioWare: Touched! (Nintendo DS) and if Japan got pink to match their version of WarioWare, Inc. Mega Party Game$ (Nintendo GameCube), but those colours/regions being swapped seems equally bizarre to me.

I think the yellow looks the best even without accounting for it being Wario's color.

I remember buying this game back in the day. At first, I was disappointed when I beat it on the same day I bought it, but turns out the real fun was in the multiplayer which we never got tired of. Almost certainly the third most played multiplayer game on my Wii after Smash and Mario Kart.

@JohnnyMind Not to mention "to dance" which you do in the final minigame. Such a weird final boss but what else can you expect from WarioWare.

If this WAS a question of my favorite color (out of these), then pink. However, I like the European boxart the most. It looks the most colorful, and Wario's color is yellow, so...

Wario's nose stands out better on the yellow background, plus it's his colour, so obviously going for Europe this time.

Easy pick. Wario wears a yellow shirt with purple overalls. Plus the yellow gets his nose color correct also

I gotta say, this is definitely a really good round of Brawl Art! This cover is very fitting for a debate like this BECAUSE of how similar they are. Bravo!

@Galaxy2IsTheGOAT it also gets the purple around his eyes properly too. The yellow one just feels a lot more "Wario" if you know what I mean. It feels right.

Honestly, if we're going just by colors, none of these breach my top five. I went with Japan since the orange very much symbolizes WarioWare for me, though that's mostly nostalgia talking. My first series game was WarioWare: Touched!, which had a predominantly orange cart.

I only played Smooth Moves for the first time a few years ago, but it's my second favorite WarioWare to date. I played Move It! on Switch earlier this year and was disappointed in comparison.

The choice of having it pink when his nose is pink is an odd choice from North America.

I’m going NA because if you look closely, Wario’s blue eye bags are darker on the EU box and super light on the JP box. The NA is the closest color to his actual blue eye bags. I do like the yellow background of the EU box art though.

I would normally pick orange but the plain black Japanese text ruins the whole thing for me, so the US version gets my vote.

I love that the only thing that changes is wario's nose color. Well apart from the main color of course. I love that the JP one has a traditional font for the title as it follows the game thematically with its weird absurd semi-serious announcer voice and aesthetic.

But still I think the most striking is the yellow one overall (EDIT : since the South Korean one isn't there to vote for). Voted for EU.

I don't know the reason, but every scan I see of the American box art seems to be de-saturated. If you see the box art in person, the tone of pink is the same as in the Channel Preview and Title Screen.

WarioWare Smooth Bowel Movement

I think the European cover sucks. Not visually appealing at all.

But the covers are underwhelming either way. They don't convey the brilliance and hilarity of the game itself. Being the 30th best selling Wii game of all is hardly anything to sniff at, but WarioWare: Smooth Moves deserves a top 10 spot. Easily one of the best party games ever made and an even better showcase of the console's unique capabilities than the legendary Wii Sports.

Fortunately, we got the US cover art for the Australian release (though we got the PAL version of the game).

That South Korean art is utterly gorgeous though. Evidently those putting these "box art brawls" together aren't being nearly thorough enough in researching all of the cover art variations.

What do pink and orange have to do with Wario? His nose is pink, but were they going for purple but then messed up a setting on the printer? Otherwise it has to be yellow.

All right, this one is just a matter of taste. I'm used to the European box art and I think of the three available colours, yellow is the best fit.

@Thomystic He does have pink pants in his WarioWare design. Also bits of orange on his hat but that's more incidental.

Orange is my favorite color, but the pink is my favorite. However, whoever posted the south korean one, that would have WON!

I voted Europe. I eliminated Japan's because the standard text isn't as nice as the stylized logos for me. Beyond that, I prefer the yellow overall to the pink.

I've always associated yellow with the franchise and Wario himself. So there you go.

NA - Too much pink, and I don't like the cross-hatching on the nose
Europe - Nice contrast, the thing pops
Japan - Weirdly washed out? Although that could be a problem with the image that NA used rather than the actual box art itself...
