Spike Chunsoft's Annual Survey Wants To Know More About Your Gaming Interests

I'd say main things I'd want out of them are more Danganronpa, more AI: The Somnium Files, maybe another Master Detective Archives, port Zero Escape and Way of the Samurai 1 to the Switch.

Question : What games and series would you like to see from Spike Chunsoft going forward?

Me : Something cute, something Chibi, something for kids, something like The Sims, the games must be multi platform so I can pick the PS5 version.

well stop making the awful Mystery Dungeon games for a start.

I just played all 3 main games of Danganronpa this year. I should take that survey.

I asked for a Conception spinoff. Monster Rancher and DQ Monsters coming back show that the creature raising genre still has some life in it. Standard monsters have been dominated by Pokemon, and the humans of Conception proved to be controversial, so maybe they could strike a balance of something inbetween. Maybe aliens? Chimeras? Monster girls? Anything to set them apart could be interesting.

Hey, give us Danganronpa Another Episode: Absolute Despair Girls! This game is canon, after all! Also, give us 428: Shibuya Scramble, please! This game started it's life as Wii (Nintendo platform) exclusive, so why not put it on Switch, huh?!

@Vyacheslav333 Thank you for mentioning Danganronpa Another Episode: Absolute Despair Girls. I honestly don’t understand why it was neglected from the collection. I might just take that survey to spread the word that we want this game to have the complete Danganronpa story

Yeah, me too. That's criminal that we don't have it on Switch, yet we got a piece of abomination called Happy Danganronpa S.

I assume the reasons Ultra Despair Girls weren't included are a mix of 1), not having a mobile port, and 2), being a more complex game so not being quite as easy to port.

I don't really think it's any big loss anyway. It's decent, has its highlights for sure, but it comes into some uncomfortable territory for the franchise for really no particular reason, it doesn't quite have the enemy variety to justify its length so the encounters start to greatly drag toward the end, and its only real narrative impact is setting up plot points for the 3 anime that don't really go anywhere anyway.

Don't mind that I played it, worth a look if you have the ability to play it, but it's really not anything special and you're probably going to get more out of watching a Let's Play of it than you would experiencing it for yourself since the gameplay isn't the draw.

Absolute Despair Girls is a canon game. So, it's a big loss. I even would prefer to have it instead of New Danganronpa V3. While Happy Danganronpa S is a piece of abomination... And Switch(sic!) version no longer receive content updates (like that gallery update, for example)! So, Spike Chunsoft don't really care about Nintendo Switch users...

I’m kinda obsessed with these lengthy surveys. It also made me realize how many Spike Chunsoft games I’ve interacted with, with Master Detective Archives, YUNO, all the Zero Escape Games, Fitness Circuit and I have AI, that still needs to be played.

Amongst a lot of the Japanese developers, Spike Chunsoft is up there with the most personality. Hopefully they continue working with Too Kyo in the future, because I’m fascinated with what they put out.

I’d like to see fire pro wrestling come to switch as well. There was talks of bringing the last one on switch sometime ago but it never happened.

Just remake Explorers of Sky PLEASE

A big fan of Explorers of Time, perhaps a remake would be cool.

Just finished the survey, but I noticed something rather humorous.

There was no mention of any 'Pokemon Mystery Dungeon' when listing their games. Hmm..

Explorers of Sky deserves to be remade, especially since the PMD remake sold over 1 million copies. I also think we should get some sort of HGSS remake (even if it's a Let's Go style game), Pokemon should finish up all their Gen 4 remake content before moving forward.

Like, yeah I'm sure Spike Chunsoft made nice money off of those games, but they just do contractual work for The Pokemon Company. They can't just make PMD games at their own whim.

Explorers of Sky DX would be nice. I don't trust them to make anything Pokémon Mystery Dungeon from scratch anymore.

Explorers of Sky Remake is my most wanted, but I also really want to see Torneko make a comeback given that Psaro managed to get a prequel in Dragon Quest Monsters.

Do they make the fire pro games?

I would like a new katanakami and a new WOTS, fire pro would be cool too.

Demake Fire Pro World down to Saturn or PS2 standards. The HD sprites just look strange to me.

I just want that they release their games at my local eShop.
