I just assumed it was scale. With PS4, Xbox you're selling to 10s of millions of gamers. Wii U 13 million, Switch maybe 2 million. Remember all the $20 garbage on Wii/DS... So to recoup the port cost you'll either need to get much higher penetration of the base or sell for more. If that's the case then it could be improved by how much they sell in year one.
