@stinky_t yes, for me with Blasphemous was quite the oposite, I've noticed that I've played the demo for more hours than other full games that I had by replaying it, so I had to buy it. I was hooked on that game artwork, and when I've played the full game I knew how deep it was, and after finish the game I've replayed again with the new free updates.
@stinky_t probably is not just your style, Dead Cells is not a metroidvania is a roguelike, that for example it was not a game for me, unlike Blasphemous that was one of the greatest games of all time for me
