Re: Soapbox: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom's Busier Hyrule Is Making Me Miss BOTW

I'll say for me, that while there were alluring things in BOTW that would snap my attention (like the trees mentioned in the article) it was about a 50-50 shot whether my curiosity would be rewarded. I think the game did a great job for the most part, but in TOTK, I don't feel let down nearly as often and I feel like there really is something for me everywhere and that I am rewarded for my curiosity so much more. I think part of this is because the systems play off one another so much better in TOTK than in BOTW, however I can empathize with the writer on the peacefulness that BOTW's map had though.

My favorite and first Fire Emblem, and one of my favorites of all time. What sticks out to me about the GBA entries is the excellent characters and animations. It is so joyful and energetic to watch these battles play out. I will definitely be replaying this soon in honor of the anniversary! Hopefully this comes to NSO soon so folks can enjoy it for the second or first time!

After years of looking at it from a distance, I am finally making my way through World of Light in SSB:U and am having a great time with it. I am an on-again-off-again smash player, so it is nice to play consistently where there is still a challenge. Some of the spirit fights are very creative and I do get a smile seeing who pops up from my favorite series.

Also been dipping into Elden Ring. I have never been a huge souls person, but I am trying to give it a go here and stick with it for some time. I honestly do not know if I will finish the game, but I am having an okay time with it so far.

Re: Pokémon Scarlet And Violet's Three Story Paths Have Been Revealed

These are technically what we have seen before, but I am interested if there is a chosen-route system that lets you pick where to begin and how these are presented. Is it one after the other? Are they overlapping? And how does the pacing feel different from previous games. If all these are more fleshed out than what we have seen then this is great, but if it is more of the same, then this isn't going to satiate fans.

I have been working through FE Fates Conquest after a long hiatus of "Oh, I will get back to it". Playing on Classic Hard and it is testing my mettle. I have "16:00" or hours officially, but it is more likely closer to 25-30 if I had to guess, as there has been many a restart on this playthrough!
