Well, at least swords and soldiers looks good. Why KOEI, WHY? It's not like they don't make awesome games, why cant we get Destiny of an Emperor series, instead of this crap. Regardless of the game's overall quality, playing a strategy game on the snes is an exercise in torture(toh-chah). There, I said it. DESTINY OF AN EMPEROR!!!!!

P.s. I got a huge kick out of the 32x lover a few posts above me. Even the few "interesting" games on that POS(Kolbri, and that wierd rhythm and platform one) are virtually unplayable.

AWESOME!!!!!!! I feel kinda bad for complaining about the lack of official SCUMMVM support on wii. With this stuff coming out, I don;t know why there isn't a Scumm section in the VC. Why God Why..........

I just downloaded this and holy crap it is just like the original.
Just curious, but why does everyone hate FF X-2? I found X to be incredibly boring, stupid grid system, stupid BLITZBALL and terrible characters and voice acting. X-2 was actually funny and enjoyable. Much like a game, as opposed to "Operas" which is all square really makes anymore anyway. (FF8, X, and XII, im looking at you) Give me this 16-bit stuff anyday.

Listen guys and gals, video gaming would not exist if not for the kludgers and hackers who squidged out Space War on the pdp-1 mainframe. So, you can support an industry that doesn't give a toss about you(NinTenDo) or you can do whatever you want. If I had a second wii I would have that homebrew channel so fast, because with ScummVm now Wiimote compatible, I would have more AAA titles than currently exist on the Wii in any form.

although I hold out a small hope, I feel united with all wii owners in righteous dispair, because we, as a group, often get the shaft. Nobunaga's ambition???? Seriously????

Re Onslaught, I usually skip the little crap-story stuff between levels, but the dialogue in-game is pure gold. The whole game gives me a very 16-bit feeling, all warm and fuzzy and Treasure-y, knaamean? It's like contra or blaster master. Ps. Please don't tell me it's not as good, I KNOW that, it just inexplicably has that "Classicgaming" feel. Gameplay over everything else.

I realize that the storage capacity problem means we wont get this as a downloadable, but based on The Industry's policy of "Release any and all games on wii for 30$msrp" we'll probably get to play this gem on our beloved wii very soon.

As a vegetarian myself, I find this incredibly amusing, since I cannot tolerate the presence of other veggie/vegans, because they are(for the most part) insufferable, know-it-all, judgemental gits. sorry ren, but it's true. "Oh, global warming, oh pesticides, oh my" maybe im a somewhat conservative vegetarian, but that's the way it is.
Also, history shows that Hitler wasn't the evil one, it was goebbels, goering, himmler, etc. Sort of like Elvis and Colonel Tom, if that makes any sense. It helps to read lots of books from many points of view.

I don't really see how anyone could prefer Wild West Guns(essentially a dull shooting gallery that repeated the same weak-mess stages over and over. worst ten bucks I ever spent) over an awesomely campy FMV shooter like this. That's probably why I enjoyed onslaught so much..No-frills shooting with campy, stupid dialogue. Doesn't anyone appreciate kitsch?
