If your user name is any indication, you and I are the actually the same age. I'm sorry if you don't see parallels to New Adventure Island and today's endless runner, perhaps you haven't played this game? It's not ignorance, it's finding relevancy in the past with what is common today and basing my review on it.
It's OK to disagree with what I wrote, but I'd appreciate it if you didn't call me ignorant for my point of view.
My kids and I are excited for this one. I know people are down on it because it pulls from the films versus Lego Marvel Super Heroes which had an original story, but we don't need many excuses to re-visit the Avengers and the MCU.
Anyone who might be thinking of downloading Don't Starve: Giant Edition want to trade their unused buddy code with me? I have Guacamelee, OlliOlli (both Wii U and 3DS) and SteamWorld Dig (both Wii U and 3DS) codes I'd be willing to trade with.
If anyone's interested, let me know and I'll get back to you when I come home from work later.
I'd like to see what's all inside the retail release first, but the temptation to get a physical copy still looms. I'm quickly running out of hard drive space, so anything I can get on a disc is alluring.
Anyone else not seeing the Wii-to-Wii U Virtual Console discount for Castlevania III? I'll probably pick it up for $5 again, but I was hoping for that loyalty discount I'm so used to...
Like TrueWiiMaster, I have a 3DS XL that's unregistered (as well as copies of both Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D)...but I don't have either of the new Pokemon games.
While I'd like to save them for the next Club Nintendo platinum prize, I'm willing to splurge early to give Pokemon Y a try.

Re: Super Smash Bros. For 3DS To Feature More Trophies Than Brawl
The trophy shop is more likely to get me to keep playing the game than the sheer, random luck it required to earn some of them.

Re: The Club Nintendo Rewards Are In For March
I can't recommend Bonsai Barber enough. It's a little quirky, but it hits that weird "enjoyment through repetition" vibe that Animal Crossing does.
Also: there isn't enough talking broccoli in videogames.
Re: Video: Manami Matsumae Performs Her Awesome Mighty No. 9 Theme Song
I enjoyed the song, but it definitely doesn't ramp your expectations like in one of the core Mega Man games of yore.
