@Grail_Quest I wish this were true, but being in HR, often times your role is made redundant when you’re downsizing and you eliminate roles that are either no longer deemed needed or when multiple people do the same role so you reduce. I’m based on the USA, but when involved in UK role redundancies I believe they tell the person their role is being reviewed as redundant to which it goes through a 30 day review. If it’s found that their role is redundant after that period they are let go. It’s been a while since involved in a UK layoff so I could be remembering wrong.
My first experience was Zelda and Zelda II on the NES at my neighbor’s house. I was around 5 and had no clue what I was doing so I always thought I hated Zelda. So much so that a few years later when I saw A Link to the Past I had no desire to play it. That all changed when I saw an article in Nintendo Power for Ocarina of Time. You knew right away that game was going to be special. I got it pre-ordered at midnight (bless my mom for driving me to the video game store at that hour…) and was immediately blown away. My only regret is that because Zelda and Zelda II were so hard for me as a 5 year old I was completely intimidated and assumed I’d be terrible at Ocarina of Time so I bought and played it with a strategy guide. REALLY wish I would have tried to give it a go on my own. So technically Zelda was my first introduction but I selected Ocarina of Time because that is the first game that caused Zelda to be my favorite game franchise.

Re: Soapbox: Metroid’s Mother Brain And The Rewind Dilemma
I use save states and rewind with no shame. Being a dad of 3 young kids, I don’t have the time to try and master a game.
Re: 'The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom' Launches In May 2023
A Wii Kirby game port but no WW or TP? That’s the most Nintendo thing Nintendo could have done.

Re: Video: What Legend Of Zelda Games Can We Expect To Fill The Gap In 2022?
Since I never owned a Game Cube or WiiU, I’d love a Wind Waker remaster so I can finally play that game.
