That's great, but I'd also like an adapter that goes the other way. We have brand new, first-party NES controllers being produced for the first time in decades and I want to be able to attach mine to an original NES (or even my AVS).
I bought an AVS and am loving it so far. I was never interested in clone consoles before, due to the inaccuracy and other compromises of emulation. The fact that I can now use my carts on a brand new, HD-capable reproduction at a hardware level is the biggest win imaginable.
The other thing I like about the AVS is the online scoreboard functionality. I hope lots of folks use that feature for some real high score competition!
I preordered an AVS myself, I've never been interested in emulators like the Retron. The AVS targets people like me who want 100% accuracy and the ability to use my living room TV. The online leaderboard functionality is an added bonus.

Re: Forget The NES Classic Edition Mini, Here's The Analogue Nt Mini
@ThanosReXXX According to the Analogue Nt mini's web site (http://www.analogue.co/pages/nt-mini), this new product is FPGA-based, like the AVS.
Anyway, the Nt mini does look nice. If cost weren't a concern for me, then I'd probably consider it.
Re: Forget The NES Classic Edition Mini, Here's The Analogue Nt Mini
Yikes, and this is why I ordered the AVS. A hardware-based hi-def NES, without the massive price tag.
I like the idea of the Analogue Nt, but now it's been outdone.
