Another possibility, but I don’t think Nintendo can get away with one more year and no new hardware. 2022 with no announcements was a stretch as it is.
@Wolfleaf Being almost a whole half a year from release, it is probably a prototype and Nintendo are the leakers to elicit feedback. This might be a design they are going to do with Switch 2, but want to see what people think before sending it on to manufacturing.
