@Asaki it depends if they contracted him to make the song or not and if he was a freelance and stuff. If you work for a company and make an idea, usually the company has clauses that they own the idea. This would be no different. Look at the lawsuit around Friday the 13th. It hinged on whether the writer was a freelance worker or work for hire and stuff
@Kamen-S that whole fiasco was a mess. Archie dropped the ball and then sega never pushed it because they wanted no part of it. If sega came forward against Penders, I feel like theyd win and have no issues going forward since most of the characters he claims are based/modified copyrighted characters.
