For those who actually played the game to get this bug requires you doing a series of moves that the average player would not do. This was discovered by people who literally go out of their way to try to break things for fun. They are free bug testers. The average player would never go backwards immediately after entering the tunnel and then speak to the toad. If you don’t speak to that toad at the desk it doesn’t reset.
