I mean this shouldn't be a shocker. This is Gamefreak, and Gamefreak would rather be deceitful and scummy rather than just be up front about what they're doing. They're going to do EXACTLY what they did for Sword and Shield. They're going to give a horrible excuse as to why every pokemon can't be in the game, and then sell the Pokemon back into availability with DLC. But they won't tell players up front, because that would mean they'd admit to lying and intentionally gating Pokemon behind a paywall. Just think about it for a second. Gamefreak "couldn't fit" or make the "high fidelity models" for the majority of Pokemon in Sw/Sh...yet they all magically found their way back with paid DLC. And now you're telling me that the next gen Pokemon game...using the same technology, on the same hardware, with the same graphical fidelity and animation, won't be able to fit all of the Pokemon up till now plus the 50 or so they'll add with this one? Mmmmmm yea a 3rd grader could tell you that doesn't add up.
