Re: Catch Up With the Mario Kart World Cup as it Enters the Knockout Stages

@vitalemrecords We've been a pretty tight-knit, grassroots community for the most part. Most of the reason you wouldn't have heard from us is because the community is online and international, with few local or in-person competitive events so far. There's a surprising amount of competitive Mario Kart that's been played in the last 7 years, that's for sure.

Check out MKBoards if you want to get a general feel for what the community looks like. Competitive Mario Kart is mostly teams or "clans" facing off against each other to see who scores the most points, by use of skill, item strategy, and teamwork/coordination. We'll be having a video up soon on EndGame's YouTube explaining everything, so keep your eyes peeled for that.

All this aside, competitive Mario Kart is super watchable and fun to see, especially with such great players playing. I invite you to come by the broadcast, Vitalem!
