As someone who has been a Nintendo fan since the NES when I was just a kid, and staying a fan all the way through until switch 2, the negativity is so laughable to me.
We had software droughts during the N64 and to a lesser extent the GameCube era. And so many third parties were skipping Nintendo consoles with their AAA tier games basically since the N64 through to switch 1- this type of direct feels like a miracle to the obsessive teenager I was, who was checking the IGN forums constantly for any hints on new games coming out for Nintendo consoles for years.
I can hardly put the game down. Definitely up there with Prime 1 for me. Feels like the first exclusive first Party game that really takes advantage of the new hardware in a way that feels next gen to me. (And yes I realize it was built for last gen too.)
I play a lot of switch/2 games, and have pretty much only played Nintendo systems since the NES. This, to me, looks graphically richer than anything else I've seen so far for the switch 2. The cloth physics on that large enemy really are blowing my mind. How it all twists and envelopes the enemy as he swings around. Am I alone in thinking this looks better than most of the stuff we've seen so far, even from Nintendo themselves?
edit: I should add that I've never played Elden ring, on Switch 1 or elsewhere.
Down to $30 (in the US until 8/7) hmmm 🤔 I’ve haven’t played any non Nintendo systems in probably well over 15 years. Does this seem like a game that might be graphically impressive for someone like me?

Re: Zelda: Ocarina Of Time On Switch 2 Will Support VRR In Docked Mode
Is this hard to implement? Why isn’t this happening with all 1st party Nintendo games for its own system? I’m not a grouch I swear!
