Re: Review: Sonic Colours (Wii)

BigLord

I already knew the Wii version was awesome. Also, the multiplayer on the DS version is a LOT better! I just wish I could find someone to play with...

Re: Feature: The Making of the Nintendo Game Boy

BigLord

Manly tears, my friends. Manly tears. I never owned a Gameboy Brick (as I now affectionately call it) but I've played on other people's gameboys for days. And I'm a proud owner of a purple gameboy color.

Gameboy, you were my first Nintendo system... NEVAH FORGET! ;_;

Re: UNO

BigLord

Anyone out there want to try it with me?

By the way, does anyone know when a review will be up? AFAIK, the game works pretty damn well. (I bought it yesterday)

Re: Review: Water Warfare (WiiWare)

BigLord

I wish I could download this ASAP, I loved Onslaught and this seems a ton of fun, even though it is "kiddish" in theme... Who doesn't love super soakers!?

Someday I'll get this

Re: Review: Bomberman Blast (WiiWare)

BigLord

Actuallyyyy I disagree, I played most bombermans and I loved bomberman generation music the most, when I heard its music on this game I smiled.

I guess not everyone is pleased with it though. Still, it's a game that won't go to my SD card that soon, I love it!

Re: Cave Story Development Nearing Completion

BigLord

@MrPinguy: There are more portuguese folks here? What are the odds?

I feel like I REALLY should buy this game, everyone around me loves it and I'm saving myself to play it in WiiWare so... Guys should I just go ahead and play the free PC version anyway?

Re: Review: Onslaught (WiiWare)

BigLord

Reading it now Nintendork, one ***hole already thumbed you down.

EDIT: Awww man, why didn't you mention That's why you're still a kid? We need to make it into a meme! xD Good review nonetheless

Re: Hudson Interview - Onslaught

BigLord

Kirk you really need to fix that TV of yours lol.

and...
1. You can't do that, because you can only do 3 dashes, at the third dash the character gets tired and acts like it just fell of a cliff (the screen gets all "dirty" and stuff)...
2. Most FPSs for the Wii use the waggle to reload, I think it's logical... that's like the other guy who asked to have Gamecube controller support, lol. But that's my opinion.
3. I have no trouble at all seeing both the HUD and the minimap. Hey, the minimap has even saved my bacon tons of times
4. With that one I agree lol, SPECIALLY when riding the BKD Jeep. I mean, wtf you can move faster without being on the jeep.

Quake 3 arena has procedural coding? Wow o_O

Re: Review: Onslaught (WiiWare)

BigLord

@Objection_Blaster:

Don't forget your partner. When you go destroy the hives, make her face backwards, that way you can destroy the hive while she kills whatever is attacking the ship.

Tip to get S rank: DON'T destroy all the hives. Leave one or two. That way you'll always get bugs to kill until the end (time doesn't give you points)

Re: Hudson Interview - Onslaught

BigLord

I believe that someday we'll see on Wiiware a Deathmatch FPS game. Hell, I think it's possible to implement Quake 3 arena into the Wiiware service!

... well actually no but you get what I mean, lol.

Re: Review: Onslaught (WiiWare)

BigLord

I lol'd when I heard about IGN's review. That's why I don't go to that site

Yeah, finally S ranked everything on normal, finally the 2nd level Rocket launcher and whip are mine!

@JEPEREZ4EVR yep, it will happen in the near future. That will be a very useful feature actually. I hope Nintendo makes haste.

Re: Review: Onslaught (WiiWare)

BigLord

@Falk I guess I'm not used to those ratings lol. I just think a 9/10 is a fair rating for this game, when I saw that 78% I freaked out haha.

Oh Falk, btw I put the upgrades list on GameFAQs, I hope your friend doesn't mind :/

EDIT: lol you're right, I just noticed one of my own nacional sites (eurogamer.pt http://www.eurogamer.pt/articles/onslaught-analise ) has also reviewed onslaught and gave it a 8/10... Very nice actually, so far it has a pretty nice score

Re: Review: Onslaught (WiiWare)

BigLord

@Mange for that my friend, you have The Conduit, king of customizations lol.

@Viper9 my thoughts exactly. I haven't bought WaW because of this game and of The Conduit... I hope it's good.

Re: Review: Onslaught (WiiWare)

BigLord

@Kaluba&Toddr: Beg for cash on the street lol, it's worth it.

@Mange if you like the Wiizapper so much, there's a good game for it: Wild West Guns. Otherwise, stick with this one, it's simply awesome. Still, if you'd like a normal FPS game instead of a Virtua Cop style game, go grab Medal of Honor Heroes 2, they thought of guys like you.

Re: Review: Onslaught (WiiWare)

BigLord

finally managed to play a ranked match... RANK 21 IN EUROPE, HELLZ YEAH! I'm also BigLord in the ranks so you can easily find me.

Also, @Falk thanks a BUNCH for the upgrade list, that will be very useful. I just figured out that the shotgun is one hell of a weapon against the fliers. Takes them out easily. And you gotta love the upgraded whip. OVERKILL, lol.

@Mange: Err... Metroid Prime 3 didn't have Zapper support. It was one of the best FPS (or FPA) of its year, if not THE best. Seriously man, I like the Zapper too but... to use it you need to sacrifice buttons, which is a no-no for this game.

Re: Review: Onslaught (WiiWare)

BigLord

Beat the game in normal, hellz yeah! I actually wasn't expecting that boss, I thought it would be an upgraded version of the first 2 bosses but when I saw it... OH SHI-

Took me about 10 tries, lol.

Anyway, should I finish the game in easy mode now? Are there upgrades there?

Re: Review: Onslaught (WiiWare)

BigLord

@Mik - Level 6 huh, the supplies, getting to them and protecting them? First you must realize that the supplies are UP THERE ON THE TOP OF THE HILL, you can't go through the mini-maze to find them easily, you gotta go all the way to the end...

Somewhere along the way , you may find the badass usual vehicle. I think it's around the southeast. Then, you go all the way forward (don't turn left or right, I think) and you should reach a place where you can climb up. There ya go. Now shoot those [censored]!

Ooooh yeah already got to Level 12... The Level 3 Mantis/whatever. Aw crap...

Re: Review: Onslaught (WiiWare)

BigLord

Only 10 more comments, heh? Then, as this is the first FPS on WiiWare (and for God's sake, it's online too!), allow me to bring up my point.

See what I did there? Lol.

By the way, first post and yes, I have the game and it's freakin AWESOME. Best £7 I've ever spent.
