@gamering why is SJ inferior and what was wrong with Catherine Full Body?
Genuinely curious. I played original strange Journey to the final Dungeon but haven't played redux yet (hopefully starting soon).
I beat both OG Catherine and Full Body. I personally really liked what they added but realize the story change might not be for everyone. Was it just the story or were there other reasons Full body was inferior?
It’s a little weird to see Phoenix Wright and (especially) Ghost Trick missing considering that (until this console cycle) these were Nintendo Exclusives.
Also weird considering Symphonia made the list…
I understand Phoneix Wright not being everyone’s cup of tea… but ghost trick is pretty universally loved
For what it’s worth, I really enjoyed (and beat) the original version.
It’s GREAT. The story is ambitious, some of the levels (especially the water dungeon) are super complex and I appreciated that the creator was on message boards when people got stuck in the original release.
While I’m annoyed to double dip, I’m really glad this game is getting a second shot. I may even double dip.

Fantasian is really good (depending on what you like in your RPGs)
The story is a little generic (it's fine... and certainly enough to keep you playing) but the mechanics are top notch.
The second half of the game pulls a world of Ruin from FF6 and is available to be tackled in almost any order you want.
The game is also tough as nails (this was a pro for me) and really makes you actively play it

scarlet and violet actually did a great job with this. The legendaries in that game were well hidden
