Since the launch of the Switch 2 in June, developers have been rolling out all sorts of upgrades for existing titles. With this in mind, the latest one announced is for Beyblade X: Evobattle.
Beyblade X: Evobattle - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition arrives in Japan today on 18th December 2025. It is a 1,000 yen paid upgrade for existing Switch owners who purchase the "Upgrade Pack". Local pricing hasn't been announced just yet.
Like other Switch 2 Editions, this upgrade comes with higher resolution graphics and a higher frame rate. There'll also be faster load times (thanks, Gematsu).

"But it'll cost you"
The Payblade has finally shown itself. 🤣
I saw "Blade" and "X" and was excited for my Xenoblade 60 FPS patch for a split second.
Carry on.
I think I've seen this game mentioned before here on Nintendo Life, maybe in a Download article and/or the Japanese charts?
Anyway, nice to finally also see it thanks to the included trailer (looks pretty nice) and glad to hear that it's getting a Switch 2 Edition no matter if paid - interested in giving it a try myself at some point, but this also reminded me that my sister and her boyfriend got a couple of physical Beyblades at a convention and I haven't tried those myself yet so now I'm looking forward to that, too!
