Update [Sun 16th Jan, 2022 17:30 GMT]: The first episode of Ninjala's new anime series is now live. It will only available until 20th January. Unfortunately, playback has been disabled on other sites by the video owner, so you'll have to head over to YouTube to watch it.
Original story [Sat 8th Jan, 2022 22:30 GMT]: Towards the end of last year, GungHo Online Entertainment announced a brand new anime series for Ninjala. This one is said to be "more involved" than the previous YouTube cartoon series that already aired, and the plan is to "dive deeper into the game's colorful world".
GOE has now locked in the release date for the first episode's launch date, and it will air next week on 13th January on the official Ninjala YouTube channel. Each episode will be available to everyone around the globe every Thursday, but the catch is they'll only be around for a week at a time.
The team behind Ninjala has also shared an outline of the show on the game's website. Here's what you can expect:
Ninja-Gum, a substance known to strengthen the power of the Shinobi that dwells within and draw it out...Burton, Berecca, and Ron, three researchers at the World Ninja Association, or WNA, take it on themselves to develop it in secret. Unfortunately, they have only managed to produce failure after failure.
But after three whole years of experimentation, they finally succeed in producing Ninja-Gum! "Ninjala", the extreme ninja battle tournament that uses Ninja-Gum is held in order to find the strongest Shinobi, but incidents and conspiracies involving Ninja-Gum and the existence of unknown beings take place behind the scenes...
The Ninjala anime series featuring the eight main characters in the game (Burton, Berecca, Ron, Van, Emma, Jane, Kappei, and Lucy), as well as Gumchi, is starting!

This site is honestly the only place I’ve ever seen Ninjala mentioned.

Can't wait for this! I love the characters so I'm glad they're expanding upon them.
There 3d animations already had me hooked on the story, and now where getting an anime? Yes please.
Will we see the different brand models appear in the anime?
Seeing this makes me really want an ACTUAL anime of Splatoon rather than a dub of the manga.
Was excited up until I read that each episode is only available for one week. What's the point of even uploading it to YouTube, then? As someone who likes to watch an anime at my own pace, I don't like having to devote even more time in my already busy week to watch an episode that will disappear soon after.
And forget about anyone else reuploading it. Since GungHo Online Entertainment is a Japanese-based company, you can bet they'll issue copyright claims on anyone attempting to reupload episodes that are no longer available.
Gave up on the game, want to check this out though. Hey Nintendo you could try this with Splatoon!
I never gave the game a fair shake, mostly because I always saw it as too similar to Splatoon, only with ninja kids instead of squid kids.
I really liked that intro animation they made for the games launch. Probably won't watch this but I hope it turns out well
kinda stinks itll only be around for a week. we're not even a full week into the new year and nintendo is pulling limited releases (im kidding btw)
At least the anime makes the art design more palatable. The in-game models make the eyes appear so unsettling in my opinion, as if their faces are like baby rugrats. Absolutely cannot touch the game even for free while I dislike the art style so much.
@silverninja @ModdedInkling
Yeah it's kinda crazy to imagine the much smaller F2P game getting a real anime adaptation first but here we are. Splatoon would be awesome as an actual anime so here's hoping Nintendo takes notes.

Thanks for the warning,
Lol i forgot this game existed.
@Gamer_Zeus apparently it's not ok to write something like that. I had a similar comment, except in a more positive way regarding the game and its fans.
But it's now removed for being 'unconstructive'.

My above comment will be removed because unconstructive 🤣
@AstroTheGamosian I guarantee you this wont stop people, they will keep reuploading the episodes with captions and other anime/cartoon sites will have them on there as well.
Heck, I could download the videos if I felt like it.
In regards to the only one week availability, let me quote the AVGN once again: "What were they thinking?"
I just can’t imagine this being a compelling show. Isn’t it just kids hacking at each other with ridiculous weapons?
I will never not insist that this is just Ninjago
This sure is a thing that exists, huh?
This might make the game more popular?
Great that smaller time games can get that sort of success
Interesting how much of an "underground" success the games been doing with big game collabs, merch, and now a full anime. I dropped off the game but ill check the anime out. Cause they sure as heck didn't continue the chap 3 story mode in the game lol
I'm surprised how well the battle was animated.
