It's another week, and that means another Arcade Archives game is now available on the Nintendo Switch eShop. This time around it's the 1988 Taito side-scrolling action beat 'em up, KURIKINTON - also known as Kuri Kinton.
The game follows the martial artists of Kinton as they engage in "brutal battles" with evil fighters, set amid chaos and violence at the end of the millennium. The characters can even unleash "energy blasts" - with the game drawing inspiration from the Dragon Ball series and Hokuto No Ken (Fist of the North Star).
This latest Arcade Archives release will set you back $7.99 USD or your regional equivalent. Will you be checking it out?

Goku riding a motorcycle? Definitely a game changer for sure.
oh that's what the song in Fatal Fury is based on
Huh?! I thought this was already available on Switch.
It only took 30+ years but I now know that Kuri Kinton is the name of this crazy game! I first played this game in a generic arcade cabinet at a newsstand near my place with only the Kanji characters on the marquee. It's pretty fun from what I remember. Though I did get caught in a pit and couldn't figure out how to get out (I'm probably misremembering this, I was around 12 at the time). The fireballs were cool, but you had to wait a bit to charge up. Can't wait to try this again!
@TheFrenchiestFry All that's missing here is a misplaced Mt. Rushmore and a train with an open flatbed.
odd. it's missing here in europe for some reason.
Wow, I looked earlier (like six hours ago) and it wasn't there.
I thought Hamster had finally missed a week of an ACA update.
Taito yes chase hq yes! I reckon they will run out of games to release and then say we have one last game a little something called chase hq shall we release it? Nah xxxxxxx boooo xxxxx
Looks like Kung-Fu Master. I'll give it a whirl.
@Dragonslacker1 I don’t know why there are basically no car racing games when they were such a big thing in 80s/90s arcades.
Oh, this looks cool.
@Dragonslacker1 I'd love to have Chase HQ. Hopefully it's just a matter of time.
I took my first ever job, a ridiculously low paying paper round, so I could pay off my Spectrum 128k version of Chase HQ. It was a £10 cardboard boxed game ordered from a catalogue and my job paid just over £3 a week for delivering 400 papers haha
You had me sold at "Taito"
I loved this game on Taito Legends. Really surprised by how much I enjoyed it, so I may grab this one.
