We recently shared our latest 'Matters of Import' feature focusing on Fuuraiki 4, a game in which you travel around the Gifu region of Japan during the summer. It's an extremely charming, relaxing experience, albeit one that currently requires a purchase of the Japan-only version.
If you do plan to import the physical version or get some Japanese eShop credit, however, the good news is that the game will soon have even more areas to explore. Nippon Ichi Software has confirmed a few DLC offerings are on their way; these will open up prefectures 'adjacent' to the Gifu region, in theory opening up a decent extra portion of Japan (via Gematsu).
Each DLC offering will have two new areas - “Shizuoka and Nagano,” “Toyama and Ishikawa,” “Fukui and Shiga,” and “Mie and Aichi.” Some examples of new scenes included in the DLC are below.
If you're planning to try and import Fuuraiki 4, or wait and hope for localisation, let us know in the comments!

This looks like such a chill game to play. I need to start setting aside some cash for an import.
Looks interesting though I might need to read up more on what the actual gameplay involves, as it wasn't clear to me (not being able to read Japanese doesn't help!)
With Japanese text only, that's a problem for me. But it looks really nice.
I would also love a new Another Code on Switch. Really loved the second one on Wii.
But since the Switch became a multi era system, nothing is impossible
looks like 70 dollars for google street view japan?
@Dimey Yeah I was just gonna say it looks like Google Street View - The Game!
@XenoShaun I was expecting "...put some money aside for traveling."
I sent an email asking if an English version might be released and here is their answer :
"Thank you for inquiring about "Fuuraiki 4".
We're sorry, but the release date for the English version of this title is undecided.
However, we will share the content of your inquiry with the company and will continue to consider it.
We welcome the opinions and impressions of our players. Also, thank you for your inquiry."
I'm waiting for my copy to arrive...
Do someone know if these DLCs can be bought from an European account or do I need to create a Japanese one ?
@Shambo If only I could.
@gurtifus You will need to be able to log in to a Japanese Nintendo account to access the JP store and then use a Japanese credit card. Best to get Yen eShop credit from places like Play Asia or Amazon Japan so you don't need a Japanese credit card for.
@Hav @Dimey Definitely check out Kerry's recent article on the game to know more:

@XenoShaun ah ok, thanks for your advice. I'll buy some credits from Playasia like you said.
@gurtifus Good luck. Might seem daunting first time but it really is a simple thing
@XenoShaun
You can also pay via paypal
@Austrian You can use PayPal now? I recall when last I tried it gave me some spew about not having the right region account or some such. Forcing my hand to go the eshop credit route. Definitely will make life easier.
This would of been probably early 2020 when I purchased Sengoku Musou 4 DX.
