SNK recently revealed the latest fighter on their way to the 2019/20 Nintendo Switch release, Samurai Shodown.
Welcome back Shiro Tokisada Amakusa - the third DLC character to join the Season Pass 3 lineup. He's known in past entries as a recurring boss and occasionally playable character.
He'll be joining the Samurai Shodown roster next week on 14th June. Here's the social media announcement:
This latest fighter follows on from Hibiki Takane from The Last Blade 2 and Cham Cham. The fourth and final slot in Season Pass 3 will be filled by a character from the Guilty Gear series.

I wonder if this chatacter will be so powerful like in the first game. That is how he needed be to be relevant.
Time for the beatdown! Still hoping for Baiken.
Edit: Dreams do come true.
❗If there's no Genan, I'm not interested...
Nice, considering this game is a prequel to the first Samurai Shodown, it make sense to bring back Amakusa one last time.
Wanted to get this game but it's never on sale and the few times I have seen it with a price drop its not the price drop I feel welcome to buy ☹️
I have yet to see this game on sale. I'd like to get it, but I will not pay full price for a fighting game that has several additional season passes on top of the base price
I have the season pass because of Hibiki ... and hopefully Baiken. But this will get me to pick it up again in between.
I bought this game for the PS4. I'm usually not one to complain about pricing, but it was pretty slim or content on initial full price release and the DLC is rather expensive. It's a good game, but I think SNK went a little crazy with their monetization. Going forward, I'll be wary about buying another fighter from them because it feels like Samurai Shakedown.
