Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order (2019)

We're now a week out from E3 Expo 2021 and it seems 2K's major announcements might have already been leaked.

The publisher is apparently set to reveal a brand new Marvel game by the Civilization studio Firaxis. Industry insider and GamesBeat journalist Jeff Grubb says it's "real" and has described it as an "XCOM style" take on the Avengers. The original leak over on Reddit says it's "XCOM with Marvel heroes" and that some "famous actors" will be voicing the heroes.

Another game players can supposedly expect to hear about is a new Borderlands spin-off starring Tiny Tina. It's known as Wonderlands and is believed to be similar to past entries. It was also teased by Gamereactor last month.

Last of all is a new sci-fi action game called Codename Volt. It will be made by Hanger 13 (Mafia III) and has been described as "Cthulhu meets Saints Row". Dirk Nowitzki is expected to be the cover athlete for NBA 2K22, too.

Grubb mentions how the "rest of the leak" is also real, and others have chimed in like the Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier:

2K has shown quite a lot of love for the Nintendo Switch this generation - releasing game series like Borderlands, Civilization, Bioshock and XCOM on the hybrid system in recent years. And if the rumoured "Switch Pro" turns out to be true - there's a real chance we might see some new games ported across.
