Update: Great news, folks. K.K. Slider is now available to order in the UK.
After a bit of a wait, our favourite musical pup can now be claimed from Build-A-Bear's UK site. Bundles are available for £32.50, and Tom Nook and Isabelle are still available, too!
Original Article (Wed 9th Jun, 2021 21:40 BST): We'll admit, we were a bit disappointed with the Build-A-Bear offerings back in April, when only Isabelle and Tom Nook were available. But things are starting to look up as everyone's favourite dog musician finally makes his way to the collection: K.K. Slider is about to become real.
Along with his trusty (plush) guitar, the K.K. Slider plushie will, like his counterparts, include sounds when you press his lil hand. He doesn't have phrases, because he's a musician, not a talk...sician, so his sounds include either the opening theme song to Animal Crossing: New Horizons, or K.K. Disco.
Let's take a wee break to listen to the majesty of K.K. Disco, shall we?

The K.K. Slider Build-A-Bear plush will be available only in the US starting at 10:00am Central Time (that's 4pm UK time, or 11am Eastern), and the queues will open at 9:30am CT (3:30pm UK, 10:30 ET). Just head to the Build-A-Bear website at the queue start time (or follow the link in your email, if you're signed up to the mailing list) and you'll be directed to the waiting room. K.K. will be coming to the UK "soon", and you can sign up for updates here.
Let's just hope the waiting room is a little less chaotic this time, eh?

Juxtaposing the plush modelled after the ACNH design, against the original N64 model, is a bit weird.
Character proportions have changed a lot since the New Leaf released.
K.K. Disco is such a banger! Glad they chose it over something like Bubblegum K.K. as hearing that online every 5 seconds got a little grating for me lol

@KateGray I never knew NLife used military time. Or maybe the UK uses that time as well. Regardless, that was an interesting glitch!

I wonder if K.K. would even be scalped, or if he's Online Only. Hopefully, the fact that he's not as popular as, say, Raymond, will add to the fact that he'll be easy to get, off the get-go, this time.
Still, I DID say that K.K. Slider would be next, and I meant it.

...Are they though? They chose the 3rd most marketed character of the series to merchandise now, and one who doesn't even wear clothes, at that. This line has been a complete disappointment at this point, and this is coming from a sap who actually bought Isabelle and Nook, but I really can't see myself getting this guy...

@EmmatheBest They don't go for "Most Popular Villager" character, otherwise, Raymond would be gobbled up by scalpers, constantly! Whenever he'd be available, scalpers will always go after him! I'm GLAD it's K.K. Slider, and if they end up releasing another character, I know for a fact that it won't be a preset Human Villager character, like the Red Shirt Villager depicted on Smash Ultimate!
@YoshiAngemon I literally joked with my friends that if they wanted to go the most boring route possible, they'd go for the most-merchandised characters first, and lo and behold, that's what actually happened. Like...what a waste of the lisence, to just make plush of the characters who probably have had more plush of them made than anyone else, when I'd buy plush of any of the new 8 in a heartbeat, especially after personally tracking them all down and inviting them to my island back when the game was new...
I called it right on the Bells. I joined the waiting room, waited three minutes, and got mine with K.K. Disco. It only has him singing part of the song, but it fits. I'll bet the guitar is sewn on, but I think he would benefit from having a guitar strap. I mean, the fact that they went for K.K. means that the Collection would be easier to get, this time around. I imagine they'll probably do Blathers, Celeste, Mabel and Sable, and Minis of Timmy and Tommy.

Build a bear are all about accessorising and dressing, K.K. is basically naked at all times so what was the point?
Yeah, I called it. Not that I think it was a particularly bold call, mind you. KK is not only the obvious big seller, but a bit of a fan favorite too. He will sell like crazy.
BTW, a lot of the BAB creations are characters who don't wear clothes in their original forms. My kid has a BAB Toothless, a dragon not really well known as a sharp dresser. Obviously she had to buy clothes for him anyway.
Unless the guitar is permanently attached to him, people will still dress KK up.
