It's been quite some time since we got an update on NEO: The World Ends With You and it looks like next week we'll finally get to learn more about this new entry.
According to the producer Tetsuya Nomura, new information is coming on 9th April, prior to the first episode of The World Ends With You Anime airs in Japan. During a "pre-show" special yesterday, Nomura also revealed the second game would be set three years after the anime.
In related news, NEO: The World Ends With You was rated in Australia and Germany last month - meaning it might not be far off release, at all. It was originally confirmed for a Summer 2021 release.

Cool! I have the first game on DS, but haven't finished it yet. I feel I gotta do that before jumping into this one.
Can't wait. I've been listening to the trailer so many times just because of the kickass music I'm really hoping to get to see and hear more. My most hyped upcoming release of this year alongside Rune Factory 5.
I'll probably steer clear of potential spoilers since I'm not through with the first game yet. But it's exciting news nonetheless.
I'm so hyped for this game, I hope it doesn't suck. It looks really good.
@Quarth same here, need to start the fist one on DS, but with Monster Hunter Rise I guess it will be impossible
While the exaggerated three-point perspective IS cool, it made me feel a bit queezy to watch in motion after just watching these short clips in succession. ^_^;;
my hype is immeasurable and my day is fixed
@AlienigenX Yeah, too many games... Bravely Default II is eating most of my time now.
I still need to play the first game. Hopefully after Monster Hunter Rise! Though that might be awhile....
Cant wait for this game! <3
Hope it runs well. I would like to try this out
I recently bought the first game for the Switch but I haven't played much of it yet. I like it so far, though.
Hopefully a release date. It was announced with a tentative "summer 2021", right? Hoping for July or August but knowing the industry it will be the last week of September, which although still technically summer in the business world, is actually autumn
