It's been a busy weekend for Dragon Ball fans. Following news that Gogeta [SS4] would arrive in Dragon Ball FighterZ this week, Bandai Namco also announced a new update is coming for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 on 18th March.
Calling this the "Legendary Pack 1", you can watch the new trailer above, and it includes Pikkon and Toppo (God of Destruction) as two new playable characters. A free update is separately launching on 16th March, adding a Janemba CC mascot and new figures for the Hero Colosseum minigame.
It's not up on the eShop just yet for pre-order, but considering previous DLC packs have (mostly) released at £6.49 / €7.99 / $9.99 on Switch, it's a safe bet to assume this won't stray too far from that price point.
Will you be picking up Legendary Pack 1? Still playing Xenoverse 2? Let us know down below.

I'm going to get this game some time, it goes on sale so often its not even funny, but that dlc now thats's a different story.
Probably still the best mmo-like that can be played offline.
I often keep forgetting this game is still being supported. Still not interested, so moving on.
I didn't know they were still making content for this game. Might get it in the future.
Probably one of my fav games in general and the support over all those years is truly astounding.
Really enjoyed this game on pc, it's such a joyous universe to spend time in and the battle mechanics are fun, learning to combo well etc. I have all dlc on pc, I don't think it's worth the price to get the game w/ dlc on Switch too.
@Einherjar agree, I have 350h on switch and the same on PS4... not a perfect game but so enjoyable
Didn't Xenoverse & Xenoverse 2 have pre-order DLC that came with playable characters never released again? I think XV1 was SS4 Vegeta.
@TyroKith Xenoverse 1 had SSJ4 Vegeta as a pre order bonus which is now forever lost since they never released him separately.
Xenoverse 2 has Goku Black as pre order bonus. The pre order pack was later released separately and the switch version had it by default (as well as Xenoverse 1's Story Mode, so you really aren't missing anything with the Switch version)
how different can Future Gohan be?
new story content or just characters?
@Einherjar Ah I see. Thankfully I did pre-order XV1 so I had SS4 Vegeta, but I didn't have a PS4 by the time XV2 released and it really bothered me that I would miss out on a whole playable character. Now that I know the Switch version has everything I'll consider picking it up.
@Snatcher Walmart had this for just $15 on black friday back in 2017. Kind of hard to pass it up.
This game is surprisingly fun. and I am not even familiar with Dragonball (Only thing I saw was the part when Goku was a kid). I bought a month ago on discount, also bought all the dlc available.
