First 4 Figures Reveals Metroid "Samus Helmet" Statue

Update: Here's a better look at the helmet.

First 4 Figures is no stranger to Metroid. Starting with the Metroid Prime Gunship nearly 11 years ago, it showcased a Varia Suit Samus statue last October and, following on from this, we've now seen its latest figure.

This time, it is bringing us Samus' Helmet, and much to our great disappointment, it's not wearable. We don't have many details so far, but expect news on pricing, availability, and a release date next week.

Right now, all we've got is this brief teaser video, but First 4 Figures will reveal further details as part of a launch stream on March 2nd. That's being hosted on YouTube, live from 9am PST / 12:00 EST / 17:00 GMT.

They should do a wearable, light up PVC model & they could do a line of variations such as Dark Samus & Light Suit. Seems a bit of a missed opportunity if its just a solid resin helmet. Still tempted as I own the standing Varia Suit, Light Suit , Zero Suit & original Varia Suit statues.

I really want Samus helmet in Lego, just like the stormtrooper helmet I've already bought.

If their previous pricing is any guide it's going to be around $500.

It's certainly cool, but not that cool. $500 is getting close to a mortgage payment. I'd rather have a house than a helmet.

If they release a cheaper alternative like they did for their Majora's Mask I would consider it, got that one for 60 bucks at Best Buy.

Cool! Still waiting for my Mario & Yoshi one though. That's the only one I really wanna get from them anyway, these things are freaking expensive.

I ca t believe they actually still have a market big enough to make money on these. I still want their Phazon suit model from like 2009 but they don’t do reprints

The visor looks more plastic or metallic than it does glass, the sheen is to close to the overall helm and to me that’s a major drawback. Still it is very beautiful and I wish I had the money for it.
