If the recently revealed Apex Legends PowerA controller doesn't particularly interest you, perhaps you would prefer this Pikachu-themed to mark 25 years of Pokémon.
This latest controller from PowerA is another enhanced wireless pro controller designed for use with the Nintendo Switch. "025" not only happens to be Pikachu's National Pokédex number, but it also happens to line-up with the series' anniversary.
The controller will apparently be released on 15th March and should be available for $49.99, although the listing appears to have been temporarily removed from Amazon.
This enhanced wireless controller supports Bluetooth 5.0 and includes motion controls, mappable gaming buttons, built-in LEDs, and an internal rechargeable battery - lasting for up to 30 hours. Note: NFC and rumble not supported.
Update: To go alongside the Pikachu-themed enhanced wireless controller, PowerA has also revealed an "officially licensed" Nintendo protective case. It'll keep your system and games safe - with a sturdy shell, durable zippers and felt lining.

How mapable are we talking about?
Despite design, I'm not sure what'll convince me to buy a sub-par Pro Controller, even though it's licensed.
Pikachu? Busted
They drift witch is stupid. if it didn't drift I would totally get it buut.
I like everything about this except for the pikachu. I wish all the yellow was blue and the pikechu was link
The power A controllers don’t have rumble. It should say it on the box. I saw the legend of Zelda one and I had to have it. Two weeks later I bought the official Nintendo pro controller.
Nintendo, please just make a first-party Mario, Zelda, Animal Crossing or Pokémon Pro Controller. I already have standard, Splatoon & Smash, and I’d like a 4th, but I’m not a Xenoblade or Monster Hunter fan. Crazy that they haven’t made any associated with those franchises yet
I want Pearl White Pro controller.
Really want this one.
I had PowerA's Gamecube controller and it drifted within months. This controller looks cool and I like the Pikachu design having a subtle callback to the old Pokemon art design, but this is a hard pass for me.
If you want a good controller that you won't have to worry about drifting, just stick with Nintendo's official pro controller. They may be pricy, but at least they will probably last you a long time.
I say just get a Mayflash Magic NS adapter and slap together a DS4/XB1 controler. Forget mediocrity just because of a cool decal.
Had a wired PowerA. I liked how it fit in my hands a lot but it no longer works, so... could be bad luck, could be bad design, don't know.
These controllers are really comparable to arcade racers. One of their main functions is DRIFT!🤣
I'm thinking about getting the 8 Bit Do SN30 + lately, the Power A one used to appeal to me but not anymore.
I guess it's case by case. I have a few of the Power A pro controllers and think they're excellent. I use them in place of the Nintendo Pro for D-pad heavy games.
@wazlon I have one it costs less and is awesome I'd definitely recommend
Ironically you can’t play Let’s Go Pikachu with it lol
I have had four power A controllers. only one works now. The wireless controllers anoalogs sticks just stopped working and the one wired one I have is still functioning but I do not use it much.
@Burning_Spear, similar case here. I got a wireless Power A controller back when Luigi's Mansion 3 released (my Joy Con had started to drift at the time), and haven't had any issues with it.
I really wish we could see other designs than just Pikachu in everything. Give me a purple/black Mimikyu Pro Controller, and holy hells yeah, I'd be all over that
I wish they used the Pokemon Yellow cover art.
Love the controller. Might have to start collecting some of the Pokémon controllers. I’ve seen a few now that I really like.
What we need is a Minecraft pro controller. Well, what i need.
@justpizza PowerA makes one.
The art on the controller and the colouring that comes with it looks really nice I'll give it that.
